Every custom gown is designed, patterned, cut and sewn in-house. Nothing is outsourced. You can see the workroom and meet the pattern-makers and dressmakers bringing your dress to life.

Custom couture is our most personal service. Together we design your gown from scratch, choosing the silhouette, neckline, back, sleeves and train. Then we select fabrics, laces and finishes to suit your style and your wedding.

STEP BY STEP
How the custom design process works
Consultation. Bring your ideas, photos and wedding details. We'll talk through style, fabric and timing, and you can try on showroom gowns to work out what you love.
Design. We sketch your gown and choose fabrics and laces together.
Pattern and toile. Your pattern is drafted to your measurements, and a test garment (toile) is fitted to perfect the shape before any fabric is cut.
Fittings. Over several fittings, your gown is built, adjusted and refined.
Collection. Your gown is pressed and ready, along with advice on bustling, care and wearing it on the day.

We recommend booking your first consultation 8-12 months before your wedding. Shorter timelines may be possible, so ask us.

Made-to-measure gowns start from $3,000, and most of our brides spend between $5,500 and $6,000. That price includes all fittings and alterations, so there’s nothing extra to pay. We can work with most budgets. Just tell us yours and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

Yes. Many brides start with a showroom design and change the neckline, sleeves, skirt or fabric.

Yes, and many of our brides come from interstate. Fittings take place in our Melbourne studio, so you'll need to travel for your appointments. We'll plan your fittings around your travel to keep trips to a minimum.
